Judging Criteria

	Judging of nominations is focused on creativity and innovation in business. Judges will be asked to assess the nominations according to the following criteria: • Using imagination and creativity in production, processes and marketing • Impact in the market • Leadership • Degree of innovation within business and marketing processes • Development of products or services ahead of the market • Imaginative changes and problem solving to create substantive positive change to an existing business or process • Expansion in local, national and international markets • New approaches, new technologies and/or investment in research and development • Risk-taking and responsibility for new directions

Nomination Progress

The nomination process involves the simple completion of an online nomination form. From these entries a panel of experts drawn from within the economic and entrepreneurial community will select 3 National finalists to move onward to the International JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award Competition.

An Award Ceremony will be held to recognize and honour the 3 National Finalists. During the ceremony JCI Malaysia CYEA Trophy and gifts from sponsors will be presented to the finalists.

The Awards Ceremony

An awards ceremony to honor the finalists will be held in August 2009 (the date and location will be announced in May 2009). Prior to the ceremony, we will be issuing a press release announcing the finalists. In addition to nominees, JCI Members, other national partner members and members of the public and business community at large, we will be inviting the media to cover the event.
